The WFI Sensor Miniature turns the detector mosaic at the heart of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope’s Wide Field Instrument into a compact, physical display. Eighteen blue sensor faces sit above a light-gray raised carrier, dark-gray mounting plate and silver structure.
What arrives
- One multicolor, 3D-printed sensor-stack miniature; no assembly required.
- Approximately 13.33 cm wide × 9.14 cm deep × 1.42 cm tall (5.25 × 3.60 × 0.56 in).
- Five-color design, flat blue sensor faces and a flat underside for tabletop display.
- Unlit: no lighting, rear electronics rack or cold baffle.
