    A compact model for your desk, or a larger illuminated display? Our Roman’s Eye collection offers two ways to bring the Roman Space Telescope’s distinctive detector mosaic into your space.

    The real Wide Field Instrument (WFI) combines 18 detectors into a roughly 300-megapixel camera. Our models celebrate that layout as physical, 3D-printed displays. They are decorative educational models, not working cameras or flight hardware.

    The $50 WFI Sensor Miniature

    Choose the miniature for a smaller, unlit display. It arrives as one solid, multicolor print, with no assembly required. Its eighteen blue sensor faces sit above a layered gray and silver structure.

    • About 5.25 × 3.60 × 0.56 inches (13.33 × 9.14 × 1.42 cm).
    • No lighting, rear electronics rack or cold baffle.

    The $500 WFI Illuminated Edition presale

    Choose the illuminated model for a larger display with lighting, a rear electronics rack and cold baffle. It arrives fully assembled.
